Nashville, TN based rock ‘n’ rollers Upset Boy and the Queens have announced the upcoming release of a new EP, Hissy Fit of Destruction. The 6-song EP comes out on June 12 via Sweet Cheetah Records, but we have a new single for you now, "Kink."

“I originally wrote ‘Kink’ for our neighbors in the LGBTQ+ community who are often fetishized by the same men who dehumanize them through their political or religious beliefs or even their silence and complicity towards what’s happening right now” vocalist Chris Watts says, noting, “We’re living through one of the most actively anti-LGBTQ+ administrations in history, and we’re not angry or loud enough.”

Getting into the messaging, Watts highlights positivity and human rights. “This song also goes out to anyone who feels they aren’t deserving of love. It goes out to anyone that is currently or has ever been in a relationship with someone who only takes but never gives. We all just want to be seen and loved, and we all deserve that.”
