Minor Threat Hot Sauce

Posted by Michael on December 11, 2007

This is probably the wackiest story I've heard so far this year, so I thought I would pass it along to our readers... Wheelhouse Pickles has launched a brand of hot sauce called, of all things, Minor Threat.  The sauce is described as " a fruity, mildly hot, Caribbean-themed sauce that its creators said has everything needed to become a universal condiment good for any kind of meal."  According to the company, "When it came to making this muted hot sauce that was less threatening... 'Minor Threat' sort of rolled off the tongue.  But being a Minor Threat fan, I knew how staunchly anti-commercial they are."  To their surprise, the band had no qualms over the use of the name, but a proposed art parody for the label was not allowed. You can read more about the sauce, as well as view the proposed label online here. Who wants to send me a jar of this to try? Source: Punknews
