Anti Records has announced the signing of The Book of Knots. The band will release their debut for the label, Traineater, in March of 2007. The album is being touted as “a tribute to the American Rust Belt” by the quartet which consists of Matthias Bossi (Skeleton Key, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum), Joel Hamilton (Sparklehorse, Elvis Costello, Unsane), Tony Maimone (Pere Ubu, Frank Black, They Might Be Giants) and Carla Kihlstedt (Tin Hat Trio, Tom Waits, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and 2 Foot Yard).
