Hear Music, the label founded by Starbucks, has announced that they have signed celebrated singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. Mitchell will be releasing her new album, Shine, on September 25th. Mitchell commented on her new label by stating:
I am thrilled to be able to work with the Hear Music label on my new CD. Starbucks and Concord Music Group are joining me in releasing a project which has enabled me to appreciate what I loved about making music in the first place. I am very grateful to them.
