Radar Recordings has announced a new program that puts its releases into the hands...errr...ears of its listeners the moment they choose to purchase. Here is the official word from the label:
Radar Recordings is pleased to introduce "Instant Gratification" record buying through the Radar online store, kicking off with a brand new split 7 inch from post rock elite Caspian and Constants. From now on, any CD or vinyl purchased from the Radar store will include a free mp3 copy, downloadable immediately upon purchase. Radar has just begun a pre-sale of the new limited edition CONSTANTS / CASPIAN 7" colored vinyl split EP. Fans who pre-order the album will be able to download mp3s of the split now, and will be first to receive the record when it ships on April 8th.
