Sub Pop Signs Obits

Sub Pop Records has announced the addition of Obits. The band features Rick Froberg, who has also done time in bands like Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu, and Pitchfork.  The band is planning to release the first Obits full-length record album sometime in the first few months of 2009.  Two live tracks from the band can be heard online here.
