Our Doylestown, PA friends Daylight have joined the Run For Cover Roster. Many people reading this are most likely already familiar with the band, but will be relieved and excited to know that they have multiple upcoming releases planned. In the last two years Daylight have released two EPs, 2009’s Sinking (Get This Right Records), and 2010’s Dispirit 7″ (SixFeetUnder) which both contained introspective blasts of aggressive emo, remaining loud and depressing throughout.

First up for Daylight will be the third installment in our acoustic 7″ series. The band is finishing up the final touches on acoustic recording now, and a new song should available along with ordering information within the next month. The band is also currently demoing songs for a forthcoming EP of new material, with a full length planned for 2012.
