Initials - a new project headed by Fred Mascherino of The Color Fred/Breaking Pangea and Andy Jackson of Hot Rod Circuit - have made their demo track "The Hills of Birmingham" available for streaming here. Mascherino had this to say of the group:
I had been playing mainly with my solo project for the past two years and I decided it was finally time to get a band going again. I've admired Andy’s playing and songwriting for so long. So when it came time to put this together, he was the first call I made.
The group plans to spend the next few months fleshing out songs for their debut album, which is slated for a 2010 release.
