Grammy winning reggae star Buju Banton is currently in court in Florida facing drug charges. This is the second trial for Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, after the first was deadlocked last year.
Charges against Banton include conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine; attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine; possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offence; and using the wires to facilitate a drug trafficking offence.
The jury will resume on Tuesday to reach a decision.
