Nu Sensae member launches HIV awareness program

Posted by Loren on December 18, 2012

Nü Sensae member Daniel Piout has launched an HIV/AIDS awareness program. Participants can purchase raffle tickets to win signed merchandise and equipment from the like of Dum Dum Girls, Nü Sensae, Coathangers, White Lung, King Tuff, Shannon and the Clams, and a number of others.

Says Piout:

I grew up in South Africa where HIV is a huge part of everybody's daily life. I have also lost family and friends to AIDS and have several friends living with HIV...I have always been a huge advocate for HIV awareness and decided I wanted to get some of my friends who play in amazing bands and make amazing art to get involved.

Nü Sensae released Sundowning earlier this year on Suicide Squeeze Records.
