Madvillain entry in the 33 1/3 series
Madvillainy - Will Hagle

On March 9 MF Doom's Madvillainy gets the 33 1/3 treatment, with a new book titled Madvillain's Madvillany by Will Hagle, released by Bloomsbury Publishing.

The book concentrates on the 2004 collaboration between rapper MF Doom and producer Madlib, 152 pages in total.

"Will Hagle blends fiction and nonfiction to celebrate Madvillainy not just as an album but as a folkloric artifact, exploring the album and its mythology from the alternating perspectives of three fake music journalist superheroes," the press release explains, including interivews with Wildchild, M.E.D., Walasia, Daedalus, Stones Throw executives, and more.
