Philip Chevron (1957-2013)

Pogues and Radiators from Space guitarist Philip Chevron passed away this morning after battling neck and throat cancer. He was first diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2007 and it returned earlier this year. The Pogues offered the following statement via facebook:

After a long illness we are sorry to inform you that Philip passed away peacefully this morning and we all send our sincere condolences to his family.
