Green Day's early releases 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours and Kerplunk! will be reissued by Reprise Records on December 19th. The albums were originally released on Lookout! Records, but were pulled last year over concerns of unpaid royalties. The band is currently writing for their new album, the follow-up to American Idiot.
