Sunn 0))) Working On New Album / Live Album

Sunn 0))) are currently in the process of recording their seventh studio effort.  The album is still in the incubation stages with preliminary tracks having been recorded in Seattle, WA with Randall Dunn (Earth, Wolves in the Throne Room). Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Oren Ambarchi, and Eyvind Kang will collaborate with Sunn 0))) on this album. The album is due out in early 2009 via Southern Lord Records. In other news, Sunn 0))) will release a double-vinyl-only live album later this Summer entitled Dømkirke.  The recording is from as very special live performance by Sunn 0))) in a cathedral in Bergen, Norway.
