The Deftones announced in a recent interview that their full-length effort, Eros, will see a release eventually, but no time-table has been set. In the meantime, the members have begun writing new material with current bassist Sergio Vega of Quicksand fame. The band's original bassist Chi Cheng remains in a coma after suffering an automobile accident in late 2008.
