Kylesa have checked in with the following update regarding their progress recording their new album:
“After a week of intense tracking we have basic rhythm tracking completed. Luckily, the casualties have been few and the sessions are going great. We couldn’t be happier with the progress thus far. We have been eating, sleeping, and living this music for a while now and the process of recording them really brings it all to a new level for the band. The songs are really starting to take shape, each becoming there own entity. Everyone at the Jam Room has been working extremely hard and accommodating the band at every level to make this record possible. Here are some pictures from this past week. We will continue updating and posting info and pictures in the coming weeks.”
Band frontman/guitarist Phillip Cope has been handling the production duties for the effort, which is expected to see a release later this year through Season Of Mist. In the meantime, a number of photos from the sessions can be found online over at the bands official Myspace.
