The pop-punk supergroup Evening Shadows certainly fits the bill, featuring members of a number of familiar bands, including Strike Anywhere, Valient Thorr, and ASG. Their sound has no guitar solos or breakdowns, just straight up melodic punk rock that’s infectious and powerful, as heard on their lead single “Karma Snake.”
Their self-titled debut will be released later this month on limited edition colored vinyl and housed in a jacket designed by artist Tyler Wolf. Pre-order it on Eccentric Pop Records here.
