San Antonio, TX political post-punks Nocturnal Prose are releasing their first long player Western Interests on the band's own Total Agency label. Featuring Yole Centeno on guitar, vocals, and synth, Nick Obregon on 2nd guitar, Aaron Marin on bass and Alan Codd on drums, the band had previously released a demo back in 2022.

Centeno also writes the band's lyrics:

This album was written off and on in the course of the past three years. The s/t track “Western Interests” was the first song that was formulated and changed dynamically over time but the lyrics stayed the same. A song that highlights the livestream normalization of children being carpet bombed in Gaza while at the same time immigrant families risk detainment and being publicly executed by ICE, all filmed in real time.

Having teased a couple singles from the album including the title track, Western Interests can be streamed above and will be available on vinyl August 28th.
