In my time at SPB, I feel like I've possibly covered the Melvins the most. Because they're a ridiculously productive band.

Anyway, the band is back on the road this summer...perhaps a sign that things are finally returning to the so-called "normal" I keep hearing about.

The band will embark on The Electric Roach Tour on June 15, with support from the one and only Helms Alee. This comes as the Melvins wrap up a support run of their own, opening for Ministry.

The Melvins released two albums last year: Working With God, featuring their 1983 lineup, and Five Legged Dog, an acoustic collection.
