King Buzzo (the Melvins) and Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle) will be touring together this summer -- just the second solo tour from the longtime Melvins founder, and his first in 10 years. J.D. Pinkus (Butthole Surfers/Melvins) will open throughout the tour as well.

“I’ve been waiting a LONG time to do an acoustic tour with Trevor,” Buzz Osborne says in a press statement. “He’s a fantastic player, and has the ability to make his bass sound like an oil tanker crashing into a coral reef.”

Dunn and Osborne have played together previously, with Dunn appearing on the 2020 album Gift of Sacrifice, plus in bands such as Fantômas and Melvins Lite.

Mr. Bungle also recently announced summer tour dates.
