Taking Thrice Back Saves the Sunday

Taking Back Sunday will be embarking on a full US Tour this Summer-Fall with special guests Thrice and Saves the Day. Beginning in Nashville, TN on September 19th, the tour will be making its way up and down the East Coast before it begins to head towards the west. When the tour hits Colorado, Taking Back Sunday will be spending the night at the Red Rocks Amphitheater celebrating the 20th anniversary of their third studio album, Louder Now with a full play through. The band will also be releasing an "anniversary edition" of Louder Now in collaboration with Craft Recordings.

Adam Lazarra comments on the tour:

We’ve been planning and preparing for this tour for a while. Rehearsing all the material and the arrangements we’ve worked out, I am so happy with how the band has taken shape. We also get to play a special show on a beautiful night in October at Red Rocks to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Louder Now. Who better to go out on the road to share all that with than Saves The Day and Thrice, we love those guys. Always have. So, if you’re up for a good time that’s what we’ll be chasing.

Hopeless (2016)

Taking Back Sunday accidentally ended up being one of the bands that spearheaded the emo movement that bled into the mainstream in the early noughties, a label that the band aren't entirely comfortable with. Warner Bros. (2011)

Taking Back Sunday were once the face of the new alternative underground movement often labeled as “emo” but over the last few years they seemed to have lost their footing. Vagrant (2009)

The release of Thrice's latest album, Beggars came as a big surprise to a lot of fans for a couple reasons. The other reason is how quickly it leaked onto the … Read more
