Hype! documentary turns 20, releases on Blu-ray

Hype!, a  documentary that covers the rise of grunge and "The Seattle Sound" is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a Blu-ray release on Sept. 29 via Shout! Factory.

Driected by Doug Pray’s (HBO’s The Defiant Ones, Scratch, Surfwise, Art & Copy), the film includes the first live performance of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," as well as interviews from Sub Pop and Seattle artists including Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Supersuckers, The Posies, The Gits, Gas Huffer, Melvins, Coffin Break, and more.
