Following up 2014’s Silver Ashes Line The Lane, Swiss three-piece Honshu Wolves return in March with Cosmic Creature Capture, their debut release of psychedelic blues and space rock for Voodoo Rhythm Records. Premiering here, we’ve got the video for album track “Goddess” about which vocalist/guitarist/percussionist Maryanne Shewolf has this to say:

“'Goddess' is a song about being yourself and giving you the permission to be yourself. Who are you? Do you want to show to others who you are? How do you feel? Do you want to be brave and arise and just be yourself?. I am not always like this and feel a lot of people would say the same about themselves. When planning this video, I didn't want the focus to be solely on me and personally wrote to a lot of women I truly adore to ask if they would like to participate in the production alongside the band. Some of these women are much more confident than I and some are more shy and reserved like I am. The point of me contacting these women was to explain the concept of the video and ask if they would like to share in a carefree-arise-just do what you want and how you feel like- moment with us.

The response was incredible, alot of them were into this idea and some of the responses these women sent me were so touching that I got goosebumps. It felt great to read their response and reach so many with this idea, amazing really."

Dig the video below and head over here to preorder the album, which is out March 5th.
