Run Cover for Cover's label head Jeff and I like to go back and forth over his bastardization of the phrase "pop-punk" but the kid has a lot of heart and does a good job with his label. However, even though we will go tit for tat over our endless Screeching Weasel vs. Fireworks to everyone else's eye rolling disgust we both agree that Long Island's Agent is a great band. Agent follows their remarkable 2006 EP I Wouldn't Trade That for Anything with this three song 7". It's more great melodic hardcore with a 90's Midwestern feel that will have your head bobbing and your feet tapping in no time. Think of early Saves the Day crossed with any great Braid song and you have Agent. Four songs is not enough though. Jeff get me a full-length and I'll never post in another Fireworks thread again. Pinky swear.

Well, for … Read more
