What band did you discover in 2010 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?
Not new, but I'm pretty sure I listened to Roky Erickson 'The Evil One' every day of 2010. He is incredible. Also havent really listened to Pearl Jam since 'Ten' came out and I was in high-school. I'm really enjoying a lot of their later catalog.
How will you remember 2010? (In terms of music)
It was the year Integrity put out the best singles since the Melnick brothers were in the band.
With more and more bands switching to digital methods of releasing music and communicating with audiences in 2010, do you think there's still a place for physical CDs and word-of-mouth shows in the future?
For some people, sure. But not for me. LPs at home/Ipod in the car/CDs in the wastebasket.
