The stats breakdown for the nominations this year is interesting. Radiohead established a strong lead early on and the other challengers were unable to come close. The gap between 1st place and 5th place is particularly wide compared to recent years.
In contrast, the number of nominations amongst staff shows a slightly different picture. Explosions in the Sky were nominated as many times as a band who came 3rd, but only made 19th place. The SPB staff are a fickle crew.
Finally, it's onto the SPB staff's individual top 25s for the year.
