SPB: You stated that you want the new record to sound live. What, ultimately, was the trick to capturing that vibe?
Ian: Recording as much as we could ourselves, and being accepting of the blemishes. I think anyone who puts out a record will listen and have a lot of things they would change, or hear things that could have been played better. We’ve never been a perfect studio band, or a perfect live band. So when we take control and do everything ourselves, then songs should kinda sound like how we actually sound. That’s the goal at least! We’ll see what people say when the next single drops.
