SPB: What is the weirdest description you’ve heard of your music? Could you see where the commenter was coming from?
Sublunar Express: The band’s rhythmic approach has been compared to Cláudio Cavalcanti, a fantastic Brazilian actor mainly active between the ‘70s and ‘90s. Despite advanced research to establish a connection between this actor and our music, the mystery remains unsolved. Sometimes we wake up in the middle of the night, screaming “Cavalcanti, Cavalcanti, Eureka” thinking we finally found the link between 3 Montrealers who’ve never been to Brazil and this terrific Brazilian actor we’ve discovered thanks to this enigma. As time goes by, the “Cavalcanti” mystery thickens.
