Swans has three new news-worthy pieces of information.

The band's 1996 album Soundtracks for the Blind will be released in a limited edition vinyl box sex (Young God), containing 4 LPS, digital download codes, and a poster. It's the first time Soundtracks will be issued on vinyl.

Second, ringleader Michael Gira has announced a short US West Coast tour of solo acoustic dates to take place this fall with support from Swans guitarist Norman Westberg. 

Finally, a new oral biogrpahy of Swans releases on June 26 on Jawbone Press. Titled Swans: Sacrifice and Transcendence, An Oral History and authored by Nick Soulsby, it was compiled from over 125 interviews with Gira, Swans collaborators and associates.
