Vinnie Fiorello writes a children's book
Vinny Fiorello - Sometimes Robots Just Like Being Robots

Vinnie Fiorello, drummer of Less Than Jake, has written a new children's book illustrated by Eric Davison. Davison also created the artwork for LTJ's Anthem record.

Speaking of the project, Fiorello says:

When I was growing up there was nothing that I liked more than robots, and even to this day a collection of robots sits on a large shelf in my office as I toil away on various things. As I get older the idea of robots becomes slightly deeper than the beeps and buzzes that I love. These stories slid around my head and out of my hands from coast to coast, on napkins and in notebooks, they are intercontinental, written in airplanes and tapped away in taxis as I traveled around the world. This is my love letter to my first love, a robot.

Fiorello also runs Paper + Plastick Records, Wunderland War, and recently sold artwork to raise funds to assist with Australian wildfire recovery.

TV EP
Sleep It Off (2010)

In theory, Less Than Jake covering catchy theme songs and product jingles sounds like a good idea. It seemed to work in the past. The problem is, this project doesn’t have much replay … Read more
