Long-running Gainesville, FL ska-punks Less Than Jake shared a new song yesterday, "Sunny Side," which seems like a fitting song title for a Florida band (current conditions excluded). The song will appear on Uncharted, a new 7-song EP out on Nov. 15 on Pure Noise Records. The EP collects the band's recent singles in one package.

Speaking of "Sunny Side," Chris DeMakes says, “Man, the main riff in drop D has been around forever. I wrote that back when we were demoing for the Anthem record...It just never felt right, and was shelved. I never forgot about the idea. This time, Roger wrote the choruses, and I came up with the U2 stadium rock guitar bridge. Matt found the drum feel and groove that I was searching for all those years earlier, and the brass added a horn hook over the big guitar riff - one that rivals any of their catchiest parts. I can’t wait to play this one live.”

The band has an active tour schedule lined up for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025, including in Hawaii and Australia. Silver Linings is their last full-length album.
