The Bouncing Souls get into the holiday spirit

Long-established punk melodic punk band The Bouncing Souls just debuted a seasonal song, "Home For The Holidays," a tune that shares its titled with the band's traditional late December shot at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, which ran 2007-2016, and then again in 2025.

"On the last day of the last show, we caught inspiration and the idea for this song was born. Many bonds and deep feelings were made and felt during that time, so hopefully for all of us who were there, we got it right," says vocalist Greg Attonito in a press release.

The band will be on tour in December with H20, plus Dave Hause & the Mermaid, and Mercy Union.

Live dates:

Dec 04 - Houston, TX - White Oak Music Hall
Dec 05 - Dallas, TX - Studio @ The Factory
Dec 06 - Austin, TX - Empire Garage
Dec 07 - San Antonio, TX - Vibes Event Center
Dec 09 - Albuquerque, NM - Sunshine Theater
Dec 11 - Berkeley, CA - UC Theatre
Dec 12 - Los Angeles, CA - The Bellwether
Dec 13 - San Diego, CA - House of Blues

This is the 30th year of The Bouncing Souls, which seems crazy in many ways – including that I’ve been listening to them for nearly 25 of those years. This year is a milestone for the band: a big international tour, this new EP, even a book of memorabilia for the diehards.I’ve had a bit of a love/indifferent relationship with … Read more

Rise (2012)

After nearly everyone has finally stopped paying attention, the Bouncing Souls put out a new album. And holy shit is it ever underwhelming. If you’re familiar with the band in any capacity whatsoever—whether as a fan or someone that’s merely heard the name before—you knew that. … Read more

Ghosts on the Boardwalk
Chunksaah (2010)

As life continually changes, sometimes constancy is important. Putting in Ghosts on the Boardwalk, the twenty-year anniversary release from The Bouncing Souls, reminds me of times past. Not only does the band sound much like they did a half dozen records ago, but the release comes on their own label, Chunksaah, which started at the same time. This release, a … Read more
