Middle-Aged Queers just shared a new single, punked up cover of Mazzy Star's "Fade Into You".
The band recently hinted that a run of singles is forthcoming -- this one timed in advance of the band's annucl Valentine's Gay Shows in Berkeley and Sacramento.
“When our bassist, Josh, came to us with the idea of covering this song, I was incredibly skeptical. He then upped the ante by persuading us to let him sing it, with me relinquishing lead vocal duties in exchange for playing bass on the track," says primary vocalist Shauners. "I’m delighted with the results; it’s like we turned Mazzy Star into an early Jawbreaker tune.”
The band released Theatre of Shame last year.
