San Francisco, CA power trio Black Map has announced plans for a new record in 2021. For the album, tentatively set for a spring release, the band will reunite with Minus Head Records.
“Minus Head was where everything started. They took early interest in us and it made a world of difference for our confidence as a band going forward,” Ben Flanagan says, recalling the band's early days around their 2013 formation. “Re-signing with them feels like coming full circle and returning home.”
The band, comprised of Mark Engles (Dredg), Flanagan (Trophy Fire, and Chris Robyn (Far), has two full-lengths and two EPs to their name thus far, most recently 2018 EP Trace The Path.
