Fuck 2021, it's the title of a new split-label compilation sampler from Dead Broke Rekerds & Dirt Cult Records, available for download via bandcamp at a pay-what-you-will price.

The 12-song collection features Neighborhood Brats, Postage, Toys That Kill, The Bananas, and more -- a few of which appear in our very own top records of 2021 as listed in "Scene Point Blank's Favorites."

Confines of Life
Dirt Cult (2021)

Neighborhood Brats play punk as you’d expect it to sound – regardless of year or era. It’s angry, aggressive and timeless. A review doesn’t require hyphens and subcategories. But while they’re easy to pin into a genre, they remain full of surprises, which is exceedingly rare. For every political lyric, fist punch in the air and shout-along moment, there’s a … Read more

One Question Interviews • December 19, 2023

Watermelon SPB: Who does the majority of the band’s driving? (Why? Any stories?) Watermelon: Erika definitely drives the most even though she has the smallest car. Both Erika and Ali have mini stacks and Jared usually only brings breakables so we have the Tetris of loading in and out all … Read more
