Currently touring support of Iggy Pop in the UK, Joe & The Shitboys has signed with Alcopop! Records, which will release Greatest Shits in August. Greatest Shits is to be a collection of the band's first three albums, compiled along with a new EP, Dam, out on August 29. Each of the original albums were released on 7" due to short run times.
“On a snowy day, I got asked if I wanted to do a bullshit one-off punk single called ‘The Reson For Hardcore Vibes’, in a band called Joe & The Shitboys -- and I was gonna be Joe. What was supposed to be bullshit, turned out to be fucking fire, thus we marched on, and did our best to break down the conservative values and general assholes in the Faroe Islands, while the rest of the world got to join in if they pleased," vocalist Joe says of the band and its evolution.
