Today Scene Point Blank is excited to share "I Seek the Glaive," a track from the upcoming new album from Self-Evident, Lost Inside the Machinery. The new album releases tomorrow, January 18, and features 10 songs that capture the band's intricate, artful, and DIY aesthetic.

"I Seek The Glaive is a dark song lyrically (my interpretation). It’s about struggling with an affliction and not being able to find any way out from under it. There are other hopeful tracks on the record but, this ain’t one of 'em." Ben Johnston says about the track below. "I love playing this song because of it feels like it’s breathing. The first section especially, contracts and releases, going from tight and staccato to open and vast. It’s my personal favorite track on the new record."

The record will be released on doubleplusgood (USA) and Stiff Slack Records (Japan) on vinyl and digital platforms. Get more band news here.
