Devon Kay & the Solutions, who released a surprise album called Limited Joy (A-F Records) earlier this year, have shared a charitable cover of "Big" by Less Than Jake.
Originally slated as part of the bands "Achilles Feels" compilation, the band changed directions midcourse due to a phone call from Less Than Jake guitarist/vocalist Chris DeMakes -- who ended up on the recording. Listen here. The song itself will help to raise funds for Assata's Daughters, a Black woman-led organization in Chicago -- with proceeds from this weekend's sales benefiting the organization.
In related news, Less Than Jake has announced a new record to be available on Dec. 11, 2020.
