Reckling recently shared news of a new EP, Human Nature, out on August 12.

Now the band is back with a brand new song from the forthcoming record, "Verbalize."

Led by Kelsey Reckling and featuring members of Fidlaw, Together Pangea, and Paramore/HalfNoise, the Los Angeles-based back play raw garage-inspired rock 'n' roll some some bluesy and grungy twists.

This is evident in "Verbalize," as vocalist, guitarist, and namesake Kelsey Reckling explains:

I think this is my favorite song I've ever written. Most of my songs are written retrospectively, often reflecting back on a specific time or feeling. But with 'Verbalize,' it was written in real time during the actual moment, in the middle of all the feelings — and was written as a way of sorting through things.

It's kind of like vomiting...when you have that bad feeling in your stomach but you're not at the point of having to throw up yet, but you know that when you do throw up, you're gonna feel so much better. Sometimes, you have to exorcise feelings from your body by way of song.

The EP comes out on 7" vinyl courtesy of Wink and Spit Records, with the digital edition including a bonus Bad Brains cover. The band released a self-titled album in 2018. In addition to Kelsey Reckling, the band features Max Kuehn (Fidlar) on drums, Joey Mullen (Paramore/HalfNoise) on bass, and Erik Jimenez (Together Pangea) on guitar.
