Posted by Michael on January 19, 2005

According to a recent BBC interview, Portishead have begun work on a third full-length effort, their first in nearly 8 years. No date has been set for the album's release as of yet, but it likely won't see a release until later this year. In the meantime, the band has been confirmed to play a tsunami charity show February 19th at Bristol Academy. Other acts performing include Massive Attack, The Coral and former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant. You can read the full interview here.
