City Of Fire To Release Debut Album

Posted July 19, 2010, 7:51 a.m. in Records by Jon E.

City Of Fire (Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, etc.) are gearing up to release their self-titled debut album through Candlelight on August 24th. The effort is expected to feature covers of The Cult’s “Rain” and T. Rex’s “Children Of The Revolution“.

In other news, band guitarist Ian White will miss the groups previously announced September Australian run with Soulfly due to “prior work commitments.” Jed Simon of Strapping Young Lad, etc. fame will be filling in for him on the trek. Furthermore, a North American tour is currently in the works with dates set to be announced shortly.
