Garbage are currently in the studio recording their fifth album and first in seven years. The album is being engineered by Billy Bush and will be mixed by bandmember Butch Vig along with Bush and is due for release in early 2012. The band, fronted by Shirley Manson, was a popular 1990s group with several chart-toppers.
