Feist and Mastodon plan split 7"

Posted Dec. 1, 2011, 6:28 a.m. in Records by Sarah

Sludge metal band Mastodon and indie rocker Feist have announced that they plan to release a split 7" single. As Mastodon bassist Troy Sanders described it, "The idea is for Mastodon to cover a Feist song and throw some hair and dirt on it... They're going to take a Mastodon song and pretty it up a little bit." If all goes well, the collaboration will be released for record store day 2012.
