Defeater, hailing from Massachusetts, have announced the December 18/January 15 (digital/vinyl) release of Live on BBC Radio 1, recorded for the Mike Davies Punk Show on January 24, 2012. The record will be coming out on Bridge Nine Records.
The band is planning to write and record new material in the coming year.
Guitarist Jay Maas offered the following statement:
On every level imaginable, this experience was a dream come true for me. Every band from The Cure, and The Smiths to Hot Snakes, and American Nightmare has been recorded behind those walls. It's nothing but an honor and a treat to now be included on that list.
