Jay Blakesberg

Bob Mould, solo artist and former member of Husker Du and Sugar, has announced a new album entitled Patch the Sky will be released on March 25. The LP is his first new record since 2014's Beauty & Ruin and will be released on Merge Records.

His backing band consists of Jason Narducy on bass and Jon Wurster on drums and the new album is said to balance "personal darkness with melodic brightness."

Mould will embark on a US tour late next spring, starting in April in Madison, WI.
