The Pixies will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of their debut with a special edition rerelase of their first release plus their first full-length, coming on Sept. 28. Titled Come On Pilgrim...It's Surfer Rosa, the 4AD special relase features their first mini-album (1987) combined with their first proper album (1988) in a 3xLP box set and a 3CD package.
Later this year, in October, the band will plan Come On Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa start to finish at five shows in London.
When the Pixies released 2014's Indie Cindy, it was their first release in the band's history to not include Bassist/Vocalist Kim Deal.
