Pelican return with Nighttime Stories

Pelican, who releaed a Record Store Day single yesterday, have announced a new full-length LP set for June 7 on Southern Lord Recordings.

Titled Nighttime Stories, the new LP is eight tracks in total, each written in full by guitarist Dalles Thomas -- who joined the band in place of founding member Laurent schroeder-Lebec in 2012. The new record is summarized as dark in tone, with carefully crafted details and a wide range of emotion.
