The sludge project known as Ledge will release its second LP on August 30 via Translation Loss Records. Titled All I Hope For, the sophomore release follows a complex, angry theme that was penned by frontman and project masterming John Hoffman, formerly of Weekend Nachos.

The concept for All I Hope For is a journey along the mind process of someone who is feeling so hateful that they could blow up the world and end the human race," Hoffman says of the record. "There are songs that touch on feeling alienated, misanthropic and fed up, and there are a few songs that specifically illustrate observations of entitled hypocrites as well as neglectful and abusive drug addicts. On a daily basis I struggle with living amongst the scum I write about and in a large way this album details my own fantasies of destroying them."

The album was recorded and mixed by Andy Nelson and mastered by Brad Boatright.
