Cloud Rat return with Pollinator on Sept. 13 on Artoffact Records -- the band's fourth full-length overall along with eleven EPs and splits, a live album, and various other comps, in the past decade.
The harsh Michigan band incorporate heavy elements of hardcore, grindcore, black metal, noise, doom, and more.
"Pollinator is our most complete and accomplished work yet. It is the quintessence of everything we've tried to say and do before, and it's kind of fitting that we are coming up on a decade of being a band together," guitarist Rorik Brooks says of the new effort.
Pollinator has a companion piece, the Do Not Let Me Off the Cliff EP, which is devoted to more experimental sounds and will release as the second disc in a 2xCD package from the label.
To get fans ready, the band is teasing "Webspinner" on bandcamp. A September tour with labelmates Kælan Mikla is coming soon.
