New from The Spits (really)
The Spits VI

In a year full of surprises, The Spits announced today that the band has a new 10-song album coming out on the day before Halloween. Titled VI and to be released on their own Thriftstore Records, the new LP is their first in nine years and clocks in at roughly 17 minutes -- just under 2 minutes per year.

The record is described as a return to their punk roots record, with "deceptively simple" melodic hooks.

The band formed in 1993 in Kalamazoo, MI and has five full-lengths to their name thus far. Stroll down memory lane with our very own review of V.
